A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a comedy written by William Shakespeare in 1596. It portrays the events surrounding the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta, the Queen of the Amazons. The adventures include four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors who are controlled and manipulated by fairies who inhabit the forest. The play is one of Shakespeare’s most famous works and is widely performed around the world.

Ages: 11-18

Auditions March 2, 12:30pm

Rehearsals:
Saturdays Only
1:00pm – 2:00pm (Blue Group)
2:00pm – 3:00pm (Purple Group)

Performances:
June 7-9 (Blue Group)
June 14-16 (Purple Group)

Audition Details: Participants will be expected to cold read and act out a scene.
